VEP Healthcare (VEP) operates emergency departments in over 30 hospitals throughout California, Kansas, New Mexico, North Carolina, Texas and Virginia and provides hospitalist services in California hospitals. Formed in 1981, VEP is a democratic medical group owned solely by its practicing physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and office personnel. VEP corporate headquarters are located in Walnut Creek, California.
As employees of VEP, Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) receive a very competitive hourly base rate and an opportunity to earn productivity compensation at various sites. Plains Regional Medical Center- Clovis, New Mexico
Plains Regional Medical Center (PRMC) is a 106 bed hospital that serves a population of over 110,000 people within a 100-mile radius of the city of Clovis. PRMC is owned by a non-profit foundation, affiliated with the Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As the busiest emergency department in the area, PRMC provides treatment to nearly 32,000 patients annually. PRMC first opened its doors in the spring of 2005 and currently has 16 beds in the emergency department. The ED has 24 hours of physician and 24 hours of Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) coverage daily.
Plains Regional Medical Center is located in Clovis, NM and serves eastern New Mexico and Western Texas areas. A largely agricultural community, it is also noted for its role in early rock music history as well as Cannon Air Force Base. Enjoy Clovis’ many rodeos, auctions, concerts and the Hillcrest Park Zoo.
