As employees of VEP, Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) receive a very competitive hourly base rate and an opportunity to earn productivity compensation at various sites. Hutchinson Regional Medical Center Hutchinson, KS
Hutchinson Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is a 200 bed Level III trauma center located in Hutchinson, KS. HRMC treats approximately 24,000 patients in the 19 bed emergency department annually. HRMC is accredited by The Joint Commission, has an Emergent Stroke Ready designation and received the Health Grades top award for Patient Safety in 2012 and 2013. Physicians work 12 hour shifts (7a-7p & 7p-7a) and there are 12 hours of APC coverage per day.
Hutchinson/Reno County is located one hour from Wichita. The town offers a wide array of attractions and museums in addition to hosting variety of special events. Dillon Nature Center is located on 100 acres in northeast Hutchinson. This National Urban Wildlife Sanctuary showcases both plant and wildlife. There are multiple golf courses in Hutchinson including both public and private courses. The renowned Prairie Dunes Country Club was designed by golf legend, Perry Maxwell. It is ranked 24th nationally by Golf Digest and 25th worldwide by Golf Magazine. Other attractions also include the Hutchinson Zoo and Kansas Kids Museum.
