Formed in 1981, VEP is a democratic medical group owned solely by its practicing physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and office personnel. VEP corporate headquarters are located in Walnut Creek, California.
As employees of VEP, Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) receive a very competitive hourly base rate and an opportunity to earn productivity compensation at various sites. Northridge Hospital Medical Center- Los Angeles, California
The Northridge Hospital Medical Center emergency department is one of only two in the San Fernando Valley that is certified as a trauma center. NHMC provides treatment to over 60,000 patients annually. As a paramedic base station, the trauma care team provides critical care 24 hours a day and is the only Pediatric Trauma Center in the San Fernando Valley. There are 35 beds in the main emergency department and eight Fast Track beds. The ED currently has 44 hours of physician coverage and 24 hours of APC coverage daily.
Northridge Hospital Medical Center is located in the Northridge neighborhood of Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley. It is the home of California State University, Northridge as well as 11 public and eight private schools. Sheltered by the Santa Susana Mountains, Northridge is a short 30 minute drive from both downtown Los Angeles and the Santa Monica State Beach.
