Our Plymouth, MI customer is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a direct hire position at a salary range of $70,000-$85,000 (MAX). No relocation package is available. Prefer U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders, however, for the right person would consider sponsorship.
Role Purpose: This position has the responsibility of integrating electronics into ATD and load cell product lines, by utilizing analysis, experimentation, design, testing knowledge and experience. This is a highly visible position with a critical impact on the company’s future. Internal and external contacts include all levels of employees within the company, division management, consultants, and other professional business contacts within the industry. External contacts are key to the effective execution of the objectives of the company. Frequently these interactions will involve extremely complex, emotional and sensitive issues. Success in this area is vital for the development of the existing and future business.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and interpret design specifications, drawings, documentation, models, and test results
• Perform technical analysis, testing, calculations, and evaluations of results
• Develop and design technical documentation, make revisions to existing documentation, and provide input
• Composes and comprehends technical specifications and test scenarios to validate functional requirements
• Responsible for data acquisition and signal conditioning
• Creates, interprets, and revises wiring diagrams as required
• Designs test equipment and printed circuit boards
• Responsible for the selection, maintenance, design and construction of electrical components
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• MSEE from accredited college or university is absolutely required
• Must have a minimum of 2 years exp experience in circuit design analysis
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD software and management is preferred, but not required as CAD is a low priority need
• Experienced with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing/GD&T
• Exceptional aptitude in the areas of math and science is required
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral in English is required
• Capable of working both independently and as a team member
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work long hours if required
• Strong trouble shooting skills
