Responsibilities:
• Supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the lean manufacturing system;
• Leading, coaching and teaching employees at all levels on lean manufacturing processes and methodologies;
• Driving lean training and implementing a lean tool kit using kaizen, value stream mapping, quick changeovers, problem solving, 5S, etc.;
• Improving employee skill and knowledge development and KPI performance improvements;
• Using tracking and reporting systems, preparing plans, and assuring timely completion and achievement of product and process quality and savings goals;
• Identifying barriers to success and soliciting help from management when needed.
Education: 4-year degree required; Business or Engineering disciplines preferred.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of continuous improvement experience;
• Food or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) manufacturing environment is a plus;
• CI Leadership, change management and Project Management experience;
• Strong experience leading kaizen events, value stream mapping and lean problem solving methods;
• Successful track record of business performance improvement.
