Responsibilities:
• Providing support, leadership, research, calculations, layouts and document preparation on plant facilities projects;
• Developing and assisting with the development of specifications for bid packages, capital planning and requirements, and project schedules and communication plans;
• Providing technical assistance to the plant maintenance department for the preventative maintenance program;
• Ensuring that the facility complies with all environmental laws;
• Maintaining all environmental reporting and documentation;
• Providing oversight for ISO and EPA hazardous chemical planning, hazardous waste contingency planning, and emergency action planning;
• Conducting regular environmental audits and providing corrective action plans;
• Conducting local training on environmental programs.
Education: 4-year degree required; engineering or technical disciplines preferred.
Required Skills:
• 6+ years of experience in facilities management, AutoCAD, planning, layout development, and environmental compliance;
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role;
• ISO 14001 and AutoCAD skills;
• Organizational, planning and problem solving skills;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
