This clinical position will be responsible for managing alerts that are diverted from the triage team to the nursing team. The individual is to asses each patient alert by modality. Modalities that are monitored are BP, HR, Pulse ox, and Weight. The qualified individual will call the patient and assess whether he/she needs further intervention by a caseworker or whether further monitoring is appropriate. Provide information by accessing alphabetical and geographical directories. Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
Candidates should have hospital experience. Be willing to monitor high volume of medical alert alarms with genuine concern to include BP, HR, Pulse ox, and Weight. Answer routine inquiries, and refer calls not requiring PCM contact. Determine response requirements and relative priorities of situations, and contact PCM in accordance with established procedures. Enter, update, and retrieve information from teletype networks and computerized data systems regarding such things as address, information, conditions, property description, etc. Contact private individuals by telephone in order to assess each patient alert by modality.
The Rep will also triage/assess data represented by alerts to determine next steps in call process. Contact private individuals by telephone in order to describe new benefits by their health program. Obtain customer information such as name, address, and payment method, and enter orders into computers. Maintain access to, and security of, highly sensitive materials. Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers. Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted. Schedule appointments for new member onboarding and installations. Operate/utilize the company's software and spreadsheet applications. Assist in maintaining and monitoring client records in the company data base. Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements. Maintain detailed files for documentation. Update customer files, as warranted. Interact with customers, Case Managers, and HSRs in a professional, helpful and courteous manner, at all times. Provide basic, trouble-shooting technical assistance to customers as required.
MUST speak English AND Spanish. Must have hospital experience. Must have current license. Must pass criminal background check and drug screening as a condition of employment. Schedule varies - must be able to work evenings and/or weekends.
