Capitol Recruiters Inc. is recruiting for an IP Docketing Coordinator (Trademark focused) for a prominent law firm client in Washington, DC. Some of the duties for this position include: assisting with daily quality assurance review for trademark and patent filings; docketing new trademark and patent matter filings, incoming office actions, correspondence from the PTO, PCT, and Foreign Associates; running customized docket reports for trademark and patent cases on a daily basis, training and mentoring docketing staff members, preparing docket status reports for clients and attorneys as needed; updating foreign and U.S. trademark and patent prosecutions in the docket system to track deadlines associated with obtaining and maintaining foreign and domestic trademarks and patents.
Position Requirements: 3+ years of trademark docketing experience, some experience with patent docketing; strong interpersonal, and written communication skills; proficiency with docketing software products; proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Salary commensurate with experience.
