Capitol Recruiters Inc. is currently recruiting for a Conflicts Coordinator for a prominent law firm client in Washington, DC.
This position provides research support, utilizing various print and electronic resources, to determine client conflicts of interest.
Responsibilities: maintains an internal database of information regarding clients and related parties to specific matters (including adverse, co-party, and other parties); compile comprehensive reports of client and potential client related entities and business relationships; assist with business development & marketing department activities; maintain database of all boards of directors positions or any other business relationship that a firm lawyer or staff member may occupy that might affect the firm's ability to provide legal services to a client or potential client.
Position Requirements: 2+ years of law firm conflicts research experience required, Bachelor’s degree, experience automated conflict checking systems as used in a law firm setting, strong business research abilities using online databases, including the Internet, and print sources, knowledge of complexities of business interrelationships in a global economic environment, strong interpersonal and written communications skills, experience with spreadsheets, and databases. Salary is commensurate with experience.
