Capitol Recruiters Inc. is recruiting for a Benefits Manager for a highly regarded law firm client in DC!
This position is responsible for administering the retirement, health and welfare benefits, manage the budget for such and will supervise a staff. Candidate will take the lead regarding 5500 preparation and PBGC filings, respond to data requests for actuarial valuation, financial audit and non-discrimination testing.
Other duties include reviewing quarterly profit-sharing calculations, annual in-service distribution, and monitoring loan application and repayment process.
Position requirements: Must have 10+ years of substantive benefits experience in a large multi-office firm including retirement, health and welfare, 2+ years of supervisory/management experience required, proficiency with Ultipro HRMS report writer, prior experience overseeing the Form 5500 filing process, prior experience with data collection process associated with actuarial valuations, financial audits and non-discrimination testing, superior interpersonal and writing skills required, prior supervisory experience required, College degree preferred, law firm experience preferred.
