As a Drilling Engineer (Offshore) professional, you possess advanced knowledge in professional and technical disciplines. Your leading and conducting complex engineering studies using the most advanced concepts know to our industry. Your team recognize you as the Technical Expert in your division and they feel good about the role they play on your team. Your are rolling up your sleeves and supervising and coordinating all the activities that drilling engineering calls for while at the same time functioning as technical expert performing engineering assignments.
Drilling Engineers (Offshore) professionals on our team are responsible for:
- risk assessments and operational decisions which impact individual
projects
- developing equipment modernization/modification recommendations.
Specific responsibilities of our Drilling Engineers (Offshore) professionals include:
- Coordinating and supervising complex engineering studies
- Reviewing and approving well plans for drilling, completion, workover,
and well intervention operations
- Maintaining drilling bookkeeping records for determining standards,
goals, training and regulatory compliance
- Negotiating contractor services
- Reviewing and approving invoices
- Maintaining required safety training and compliance
- Providing technical guidance and assistance to others in discipline
Requirements of our Drilling Engineer- Offshore Professionals:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering related discipline and a minimum of
nine years' experience in drilling, completion, and workover
engineering activities
- Knowledge of all field operations, rig selection, equipment selection
and personnel requirements
- Proficient in drilling, completion, and workover engineering design
- Ability to organize, prioritize and make decisions under time
restrictions
- Experience with either GoM, (Gulf of Mexico) or international deepwater
projects
DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY/KNOWLEDGE
Responsible for the supervision of all phases of drilling, completion, and workover operations
Salary - $115 195K (based on your experience and educational qualifications)
