1. Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the insulation industry.
2. BS/BA highly desired.
3. Must have an understanding of how to work with specifiers.
4. Must have technical understanding of commercial building.
5. Must have current knowledge and contacts within the territory.
Company Overview:
The client company is a recognized global leader and innovator in cellular and foam technologies and world leader in the market for flexible technical insulation materials. The company produces flexible, fiber-free mechanical insulation, thermoplastic insulation materials, covering systems, noise control products and special foams for a multitude of industrial/commercial applications and foam cores used as composite materials.
Requirements:
• Minimum five years of sales experience in the Insulation industry with at least 3 years of direct insulation sales with knowledge of the construction industry.
• In depth knowledge of channel management strategies.
• Capability to make effective presentations across various customer functions and audiences (end user audiences, lunch & learn audiences, C-Level audiences, and more).
• Ability to identify and qualify prospects in order to effectively penetrate market share for premier, high-tech insulation applications.
• Valid active driver’s license and willingness to travel 50% or as needed.
• Experience with Windows based computer systems.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver territory budget and implementation of national sales strategy.
• Identifies and pursues opportunities for expanding product offerings and revenue generation.
• Manages distributor network to deliver targeted business growth and optimum profitability.
• Develops new business targets to replace alternate insulation materials in conjunction with Demand Creation team.
• Responsible for creation of key account strategy.
• Works with the Insulation team to provide competitive offerings input and develop market analysis information.
• Maintains strong working knowledge of existing and new product offerings as well as general industry technology.
• Responsible for documenting account and opportunity activity in Salesforce.com.
Compensation:
A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes a base salary, along with performance-based bonus and equity.
