Top Must Haves for the Ideal Candidate:
1. Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), an advanced degree would be an advantage.
2. Documented Lean Manufacturing/ Six Sigma implementation expertise
3. 7-15 years’ Plant Manager experience.
4. Technical expertise of machinery.

• 10 years progressively responsible experience in operations management roles.
• Must have previous experience from leading and managing world class machine shop environment.
• Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence principles.
• Technical understanding of the design and manufacturing of highly-engineered industrial products will be highly beneficial.
• Solid leadership and matrix team management skills are required.
• Experience upgrading teams, processes and systems, and as well as effective problem solving skills are key.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed.
Responsibilities:
• Full P&L responsibility for this facility.
• Monitor the business performance throughout the year and initiate corrective action where necessary to ensure the facility meets defined goals through metrics and common/best practices.
• Assess current teams and assure the right people are in the right place. As necessary, attract, recruit and train high-caliber machinists, trades, and professional talent.
• Assess current procedures and processes, develop suitable performance indicators, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to position facility as a best-in-class organization in its industry.
• Deliver customer satisfaction by continuous development and improvement in on-time delivery.
• Interact with customers to ensure all requirements are met; coordinate and resolve issues regarding existing and new products and services.
• Keep abreast of the latest technologies, competitive activities and industry development.
Compensation:
A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes a base salary and performance-based bonus.
