SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER INSULATION (TX/LA)

• Minimum 5 years technical sales experience in the industry
• Relationships in the assigned territory (Southwest)

• Experience/understanding of channel strategy (Distributors/Contractors/Dealer Networks)

Company Overview:
The client company is a recognized global leader and innovator in cellular and foam technologies and world leader in the market for flexible technical insulation materials. The company produces flexible, fiber-free mechanical insulation, thermoplastic insulation materials, covering systems, noise control products and special foams for a multitude of industrial/commercial applications and foam cores used as composite materials.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Capability to make effective presentations across various customer functions and audiences (end user, via lunch & learns , C-Level, etc.).
• Demonstrated aptitude in creating new relationships as well as leveraging existing relationships within the territory.
• In depth knowledge of channel management strategies.
• Willingness to travel 50% or as needed.
Responsibilities (Regional Sales and Marketing Manager will report to the National Sales Manager - Insulation):
• Create, manage and negotiate customized sales and marketing programs to intentionally optimize share at distributors.
• Develop new business targets to replace alternate insulation materials in conjunction with Demand Creation team.
• Act as Customer Relationship Manager building relationships and credibility at senior levels within customer organizations. Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding product offerings and revenue generation.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing sales deals and other programs consistent with channel strategy.
• Create key account strategy.
Location & Compensation:
A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes a base salary, bonus and company vehicle. Benefits include health and dental insurance, 401K, etc.
The successful candidate will be ideally located in or within close proximity of Houston or Dallas, Texas.
