Top Must Haves for the Ideal Candidate:
1. Must be (or have been) a CFO at a Private Equity owned company.
2. Must have document management, digital print, commercial printing, and packaging industry experience.
3. Post merger integration experience.
4. Strong IT Technology understanding and how to use it as a strategic advantage.
Company Overview:
The Company provides document management solutions, marketing and communications services, marketing collateral management and fulfillment, data-driven digital print solutions, and digital media and e-business solutions.
Requirements:
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with at least 5 years in a significant leadership and responsibility position.
• Experience in the print and document management space including digital document management. Ideally this would include experience both in transactional printing and document management for smaller customers and at the enterprise level for larger customers.
• Strong IT and technology experience with an understanding of how IT and technology can provide a competitive advantage.
• Experience managing a standalone company’s treasury function, banking relations, and projecting its cash flows.
• Ideal candidate has experience evaluating, selecting and overseeing the implementation of accounting, inventory tracking, capital management, and other relevant information systems software packages.
Responsibilities:
• Corporate Accounting Manage the month end close and establish processes to complete the month end close in ten business days.
• Operational Accounting - Manage accounts receivable, accounts payables, fixed assets, and closely monitor inventory including aging.
• Capital Management - Determine capital requirements to support continued corporate growth through expansion at existing facilities and acquisition of new facilities.
• Financial Reporting - Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization. Manage the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Financial Planning & Analysis - Establish a thorough financial planning and analysis process which will enable the senior management to analyze company performance and to develop financial plans to support overall business strategy.
• Corporate Development - Perform post-merger integration by integrating the accounting, financial, and information systems of any acquisitions into the Company’s systems.
• Information Systems - Maintain and upgrade, as appropriate, the existing ERP and other information systems. Ensure that the network is both reliable and cost effective.
