150437 Mechanical Labor Analyst
Our customer located in Troy, MI is seeking a Mechanical Labor Analyst on a long-term contractual basis.
The salary range for this position is dependent upon level of experience.
Position Summary
The qualified candidate will develop Estimated Work Times for mechanical repair operations. This task is accomplished through systems analysis, observation, OEM data research, time studies, historical data, and personal knowledge. Excellent work ethic, a positive attitude, and a team player mentality are a must.
Required Experience & Qualifications
• 5 years in the Automotive Repair Industry as either a technician, shop manager, or estimator.
• Excellent knowledge of general vehicle parts / systems operations, relationships, and nomenclature.
• Knowledge and use of a personal computer.
• High level understanding of databases and database relationships.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of common computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of networks, databases, and taxonomies.
• Experience with a major mechanical repair estimating systems.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• ASE or State Certifications preferred (do not have to be current).
