Program Manager an Enterprise Service Bus(ESB)
Experienced Program Manager to support a large-scale multi-year program that will transform the architecture and integration throughout the enterprise by implementing a strategic Enterprise Architecture Integration (EAI) pattern using Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). Requires the redevelopment of existing and new interface approaches within the enterprise Responsible for all aspects of this program over the entire program life cycle across all business and technology activities and resources. The role will be significantly visible within the organization, requiring the individual to present to C level executives on a weekly basis and maintain a strong control on the delivery of the program. MUST have rich background of program successes, is energetic and personable, thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses the ability to find creative solutions to achieve business objectives and to address issues that jeopardize program goals or timing, within budget or resource constraints
As a substantial program of work this will be delivered in an interactive Agile fashion, utilizing Scrum and XP techniques, which will need to be aligned to more waterfall based projects within the organization.
This project will have the following variables:
• An impact within a large number of departments globally or enterprise-wide
• A high impact across other business units
• High internal and external risks
• A high level of complexity
• Project budgets that exceeds $25 million
• The use of multiple IT systems
• A level of IT complexity that is high
• Major enterprise-wide business process change expected
• A number of staff executing the project expected to be large (e.g., greater than thirty)
• Involvement with more than 10 partners/stakeholder groups
Requirements:
• Program Managed multi-year, multi discipline bodies of work for Investment Managers
• 10+ years of experience with Program Management
• 10+ years of Technology delivery
• 2+ years of Enterprise Architecture Integration project delivery
• 5+ years Knowledge and understanding of the IBM Websphere Message Broker suite
• 15+ years of Investment Management roles and experience.
• Extensive experience in implementation of an investment accounting system
• Use Enterprise Service Bus solutions (IBM preferred)
Must be able to envision the big picture and interact with executive, business, and functional leadership to define strategy and craft programs to materialize the business strategy. Individual needs to leverages their expertise to drive decision making on all aspects of the program/project activities and mitigates erroneous decisions. Needs to be able to manage this programs that will have global impact to the organization in a cross-functional, matrix management environment where high-risk, cost, or impact to the organization are paramount.

• Investment, Asset or Hedge fund management background.
• Understanding of Equity, Fixed Income, Derivative and Cash instruments

• Provides calm, steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, rapid change, and aggressive deadlines

• Provides oversight and guidance of all project management related activities such as leading change activities, scope management, program cost benefit analysis, program budgets, internal funding presentations, vendor management, contingency plans, benefits realization, requirements gathering, and solution definition
• Ensures program meets compliance requirements for all strategic projects/programs
• Utilizes company and industry program management best practices and adheres to the PMO process, standards, and governance
• Administratively close out programs, conducting post implementation review, benefits review, lessons learned, publishing information and implementing improvement opportunities
