Position: Senior Compensation Analyst
Location: Franklin Lakes NJ
Duration: 5+ Months Contract[Temp to hire]
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor degree in business, economics or a related field or equivalent required. CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in compensation analysis and administration.
• Expert knowledge of compensation theory, design, and application, including strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards.
• Proven ability to work independently and interact effectively with management.
• Excellent analytical and organization skills.
• Excellent Excel ability.
• Ability to manage to deadlines and multiple priorities, work under pressure and handle confidential information appropriately.
• Detailed knowledge of job analysis and job evaluation principles, methods, procedures, and techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with Workday a plus.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Compensation Analyst you will act as an advisor and technical expert on compensation-related matters in the U.S., including compensation philosophy, policies, programs and approaches, identifying client needs, managing the relationship, brokering development of and delivering creative solutions.
Reporting to the Director of U.S. Total Rewards, you will proactively collaborate to provide knowledgeable and experienced consultative, analytical and project management services in support of the Client’s global compensation philosophy.
The successful candidate will drive and execute compensation programs and activities while ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and organizational policies.
• Act as advisor on compensation programs and practices in support of the objectives of the business.
• Work with HR team to understand business requirements and roles to evaluate jobs.
• Design and maintain/create job families consistent with the global structure.
• Conduct job group leveling and may create job descriptions for managers and HRBPs.
• May assist others in the Total Rewards group in completing compensation surveys and market analyses for client groups as it relates to benchmarking, leveling and analysis.
• Support the annual compensation planning process for client groups, including fielding questions from the business and developing and delivering training.
• Ensure compensation programs and practices are competitive and aligned to the business; Collaborates with team to monitor, benchmark, develop and execute Client’s compensation programs against relevant industry, market data and key competitive firms.
• Researches best practices and trends; Determines effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs; presents alternative cost-effective solutions that are consistent with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Lead implementation of various rewards related activities, including governance, training sessions, year-end planning and other project implementations.
• Supports the Total Rewards team on special projects and assignments as needed. Including assisting with benefits projects, program design and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and benchmarking.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations within the businesses supported. Keep informed of new developments and disseminate information.
