Our Client is seeking an Infrastructure Project/Technical Account Manager to work closely with Application Project Teams, Infrastructure Architect and Leads. The candidate must have a proven history of building strong, strategic relationships and create synergy among teams. Candidate must exercise independent judgment with little to no supervision.
Job Description for Infrastructure Project and Technical Account Management:
• Work closely with Application Project Team, Infrastructure Architect & Lead(s)
• Responsible for project delivery
• Responsible for delivery dates and resource tracking
• Works with Infrastructure Architect and Lead to provide project delivery dates
• Build team census and motivation
• Responsible - Project Direction
• Responsible - all SR, CR and MSP coordination
• Responsible - Project Plan
• Responsible - Application and Infrastructure Project plan integration
• Coordinates with ETS-PHS Shared Services team activities
• Coordinates/facilitates all Infrastructure related project meetings
• Facilitate infrastructure team access to development/application team members
• Responsible for all project related activities until Transition
• Does not get involved until project funding is approved
• Helps Infrastructure Engineering team with any obstacles to complete their tasks on time
• Responsible for all project related statuses
• Escalation point for all project related issue form application/PM teams
• Gather technical direction for all Infrastructure-related issues from Architect and Lead(s)
• Mentor new resources on standards and processes
• Help coordinate team communication
• Must uphold all Project management standards
• Review project architectural documents
• Develop scope document
• Manage and coordinate scope changes to project architecture
• Develop and maintain project schedule/plan
• Manage infrastructure project budget
• Coordinate and schedule resources
• Coordinate weekly status meetings and provide weekly updates
• •• Develop and maintain project plans, tracking logs for Issues, Risks, SRs and communications
• Ensure project deliverables and timelines are met
• Responsible for Runbook updates and submission
• Submits Power Requests to DC
• Hosts kickoff meetings with infrastructure teams and apps/PHS teams
• Liaison between Infrastructure, Application Teams, Enterprise Shared Services, Third Party Vendors and Equipment Vendors
• Submits, escalates and tracks FARs
• Reports project status and burn rate
• Hosts weekly status calls
• Follow up with architect on HW shipment status
• Post and maintain project documents on SharePoint
• Interface with the business unit and the technical resources to execute tasks necessary to deliver services per the project plan.
• Coordinate collaborations, facilitate meetings, and communicate on all levels so that the project meets targets and resolves issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in daily Agile Scrums and update Rally tasks for the Infrastructure team.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• 8-10 years experience required
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required)
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required)
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
