Weekend shifts Saturday from 7am to 7pm

M-F shifts days and nights 9am to 5 pm or 11 pm to 7pm shifts available. Openings for 2 OR RN's.
The Perioperative Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering direct nursing care to all patient populations on this unit during the hours (s)he is on duty. The Perioperative RN possesses skills and knowledge to competently provide appropriate nursing care. Experience with scrubbing and circulating major complex surgical cases, to General, Ortho, Spine, Neuro, GYN, ENT, and Opth is required.
We do offer some unique scheduling opportunities that offer flexibility and more work-life balance:
1. Weekend schedule: Weekend coverage begins at 7:00 a.m. Saturday and ends at 7:00 a.m. Monday. The RN is expected to be available to work during that time period, however, there may be periods of time the RN does not work depending on the OR case schedule. The RN will receive full time pay (40 hours of pay for the entire weekend period) and full time benefits regardless of the number of hours worked that time period. We expect the average number of hours the RN will actually work is between 16-24 for the entire weekend.
2. Weekday schedule: Weekday shifts will be variable to include some day shifts and some evening shifts. Night call beginning at 11pm to 7am will be required on a rotating basis.
3. Full time night shift (11pm-7:30am), Mon-Fri is available if anyone is interested

WHY WE'RE A GREAT COMPANY
The hospital is a private-non profit community hospital, not part of any larger healthcare system. It's been voted best place to work in our local community for the past 7 years. It's a very stable and reputable organization that is forward thinking and current with latest technology, systems, and best practices. Employees experience a positive and friendly work environment with open communication between staff and management. The property is very inviting and warm and is surrounded by lush trees and has natural light and water features throughout.
