Description:
ClearCase is a software configuration management tool that provides source code version control, configuration management, build & release management and parallel development support. The selected individual will be part of a team supporting the global Customer ClearCase environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide level 1, 2 & 3 support for the main ClearCase environment.
• Provide general application support and administration for all Customer sites.
• Assist with installs/upgrades for all Customer sites, participate on various ClearCase projects and assist suppliers.
• Primary support will be 8:00AM - 4:30PM Monday - Friday. Individual may be on-call or asked to help with Priority 1 incidents evenings and/or weekends.
Requirements:
• 5 years ClearCase Administration experience.
• Prior application support experience.
• Excellent communication & teamwork skills.
• Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong initiative.
• Must be a self-starter with high accountability.
• Some off shift support is required
• Experience working with remote client sites would be preferred
• A basic understanding of Linux/Unix.
• Understanding of a server/client application.
• Scripting in Perl and/or Bash.
• Experience installing and supporting ClearCase.
• Good project management skills to assist with upgrades, manage installations and onboard suppliers.
• Experience working on or supporting an open source application or tool.
