Sr. Data Center Administrator at Quantus Management Resources in Auburn, MA

The primary responsibilities will be to ensure a high degree of availability of data center operations and systems. They will work closely with System Architects and Build Team members to ensure best practices are being utilized to maximize data center uptime; data center and system redundancy; backup and recovery and simplified operations.

In addition the Sr. Data Center Administrator will have superior technical skills in the area of data center, systems and operations. They will stay abreast of best practices for physical data center components, as well as virtual data center components.

Key requirements:

• 7+ years experience, ideally in a large fast paced business environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Experience (Preferred)
• Strong communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to run large scale projects upgrades, system refreshes for example
• Full knowledge in the Windows Server platform 2008 R2 and higher
• Full knowledge in the Windows Active Directory and supporting technologies DNS, DHCP, DFS
• Expert knowledge of VMware vSphere
• Expert knowledge of SAN Storage Systems NetApp, EMC is a bonus
• UCS experience is also a huge bonus - this might be hard to find, but we need an experienced UCS admin onboard too.
