12+ months contract for an Archer database administrator in Peoria, IL
This resource will be accountable for designing, configuring and supporting the underlying databases for processes that feed the Archer application. He or she will be accountable for ensuring data from multiple sources is fed in a consistent manner into the central data source.
Job duties include but not limited to:
• Designing, administering and supporting the underlying SQL database for Archer
• Creating and scheduling SQL server jobs for automatic updates,
• Writing SQL queries, stored procedures, scheduled jobs,
• Configuring the RSA Archer platform and develop applications based on technical requirements using standard designs.
• Working with functional resources to understand requirements and ensure clean data is inputted within the Archer master database
• Writing and managing interfaces between the Archer database and other data sources.
Qualifications / Required technical qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years of experience related field
• Minimum 3-5 years hands on experience designing, troubleshooting and supporting SQL databases for enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of applications, such as Global directory, PeopleSoft.
• Proven ability to write and troubleshoot interfaces between multiple applications.
• Understand data feeds, prior data integration experience required.
• Knowledge and experience with .Net and SQL
• Understanding of the applications development life cycle.
• At least 3-5 years of experience developing, implementing and supporting critical enterprise applications on a distributed platform.
• Firm understanding of data management principles and efficient database design.
• IT experience with XML, XSLT, LDAP and Windows technology.
Desired technical qualifications: Certified Archer developer/administrator
Required Soft Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to work in cross functional teams.
• Self-motivated, strong problem solving skills independently or with the team.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and respond with a sense of urgency
