12+ months contract for a Troux Architect in East Peoria, IL
• The person will be responsible for managing Troux on a day-to-day basis that will include taking requests for data input, data extract, reporting, and other similar requests. In addition, the person will be required to upgrade and patch Troux software as supported by the vendor. The person will work under the supervision of EA Process & Service owner.
Job Duties/Responsibilities include:
• Expert knowledge of TROUX 9.2, TROUX InSight, and Cognos Reporting.
• Expert ability to perform metamodel changes in TROUX to meet customer requirements
• Expert knowledge of TROUX 9.2, and TROUX InSight.
• Expert ability to perform metamodel changes in TROUX to meet customer requirements
• Expert ability to troubleshoot issues as needed to resolve issues.
• Expert ability to map Troux Objects to InSight reports, and create custom reports as per customer requirements
• Expert ability to perform dataloads in TROUX
• Expert ability to perform TROUX modules rollout (e.g. Standards)
• Expert ability to perform impact analysis on TROUX monthly upgrade and patch set, and implement the changes needed to current TROUX environment
• Expert ability to create System Administration Guides to manage Troux environment
• Expert knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
• Expertise to get consensus from business users and technical teams to integrate data from other sources to Troux
• Expertise in building technology standards catalog and technology rationalization reports, and roadmaps
• Expert ability to develop Troux for roadmapping
• Expert level proficiency in a computer software application or programming language specifically identified in the assignment requirements.
Required Qualification:
• 9 years minimum of IT experience
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience on Troux 9.2 or later with demonstrated work activities with Troux Standards, Troux Information, Troux Alignment, and Troux Insight
• At least part of one new Troux implementation that concluded in successful adoption
• Ability to understand requirements quickly and translate them into Troux technical tasks
• Ability to troubleshoot problems related to Troux functionality
• Ability to coach and mentor new users of Troux to understand data, process, and tool
