Johnson Service Group is looking for multiple CNC Machinist for one of our clients.
Location Chandler AZ
Pay rate: $20 - $24/hr.

Responsible for setup, production and preventative maintenance of computer numeric controlled production equipment (specifically Haas VMC, Robodrill, Toyoda, Mazak HMC). Machines parts by operating mechanical equipment. Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product. Inspects and measures machined parts to ensure blueprint specifications are met.
• Plans machining by studying drawing and specifications. Reads and interprets blueprints.
• Operates related conventional equipment for design and building of products.
• Troubleshoots and hand edits programs.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to company standards.
• Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs; trains less experienced operators.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull and grasp.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Works in a manufacturing environment.
• Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to chemicals and debris.
• Subject to noise levels.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 4 - 5 years machining experience required.
• Proven setup and programming skills with vertical or horizontal machines.
• Understanding and reading of basic G-code programming required.
• Blueprint reading and first piece inspection knowledge.
• Working knowledge of computers and computer systems.
• Excellent communication and team skills.
