Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and coordinate policies and procedures for the HR department functions such as recruiting, wage/salary administration, training and safety programs;
• Manage Workers’ Compensation Administration, outside insurance carriers and primary care medical providers to ensure that all industrial incident cases are resolved in a timely fashion;
• Direct coordination of the activities of safety committee to promote employee participation and cooperation with outside safety and health agencies in achieving a safe and efficient working environment for all employees;
• Assist in development, implementation, and management of company benefit programs in consultation with senior management to provide employees with appropriate cost effective insurance coverage;
• Direct employee performance evaluation program.
Education: 4-year degree required.
Required Skills:
• 10-20 years’ experience in an HR environment (manufacturing)
• Understanding of occupational health and safety compliance regulations;
• Ability to manage HR programs, procedures, and policies for the company, as well as organization planning and development
• Ability to oversee staffing, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
