We are one of the largest painting companies in the Lower Mainland and we were proud to be the painting sub-contractor during the winter Olympics 2010. Job Title : Painter (NOC 7294)
Office Location : 7486 149 Street, Surrey, BC. V3S 0T9
Job Location : Different areas in all over Lower Mainland or other parts of BC.
Vacancies : 10 positions available (Full time and permanent)
Anticipation Date : As soon as possible
Language : Basic English required
Education & Experience : High School with 3-4 years of apprentice or work experience or
collective training and experience for the same duration.
Wage : $ 22.15 per hour (40 hours per week)
Main Duties:
Calculate amounts of required materials and estimate costs
Read blueprints and drawings of the premise for the execution of painting job
Fill cracks, holes, and joints with chaulk, plaster or other fillers
Clean surfaces and remove previous paint by means of sandblasting, scraping, sanding etc.
Mix, match, and apply in specified quantities to make the desired colours to equipment, buildings, bridges, or other structures, using brushes, spray guns, or rollers
Clean up all equipment, including brushes and spray guns
Erects scaffolding, rigging and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes
Offer assistance and advice to customers on selection of materials, designs and colours
