Operations Manager - $85-95K + 10% Bonus Industrial Products Mfg (Chemicals/Pulp/Paper/Plastics) - Will be responsible for all Production functions in a manufacturing environment of 50-60 employees. Major Corporation that has facilities in 50+ countries and a world leader in respective product line. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience with all Production, Shipping and Receiving Functions and assist in the development of Production goals and Continuous Improvement. Strong Mechanical aptitude and high energy level is required. Prior experience with extrusion, web processes, or blown film will be a plus. Experience with ISO-9001:2008 implementation or other quality models is desired. Experience with pumps, drive systems; and tension controls is a plus.
BS Engineering/Technical degree preferred; however, will consider other degrees with solid work history with Supervision in a manufacturing work environment. Selected candidate will be responsible for interface with Maintenance, Quality and other functional departments; Lead Production to achieve high quality standards at lowest possible costs; Establish SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time Bound goals); 80% of time on Production Floor with Supervisors and Production Crews; Equipment Analysis; KPI - Key Performance Indicators; and Leads, Manages, and Understands Timelines and Critical Paths.
