Company seeking a Operations & Maintenance Manager (Wayside, Facilities, Power & Electronics). The ideal candidate should have some experience with:
power
electronics
power-electronics
tracks (rail)
Electrical maintenance background would be ideal. Will have to handle projects and manage the budget and will have to deal with CARP obsolete equipment and write proposals given to customer.
Incumbent will oversee:
4 Supervisors and about 35 techs (power, electronics, maintenance and field)
Will have to conduct real time audits
Must have strong customer service skills and good Project Management abilities and a background in one of the following industries:
rail
track maintenance
guideways
ATC system
The Operations & Maintenance Manager (Wayside, Facilities, Power & Electronics) is responsible for the management of all maintenance activities required to meet safety, service reliability and budget goals including the management of corrective and preventive maintenance for all track work, guideway, structures, station doors, traction power supply and distribution system, communication system and automatic train control system.
Qualifications & Functional Knowledge
Minimum 10 years of experience in direct supervision in an industrial/technical environment. AA/AS degree in business or technical field required, BS/BA degree preferred. At least 5 years of experience working in an industrial environment, with O&M experience preferred.
Knowledge of the Business
Working knowledge of maintenance management processes and systems. Demonstrated ability to understand and coordinate complex technical issues that required the use of project management techniques and statistics. Experience or education with budgeting and finance preferred.
