1. Job Knowledge and Skill:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to function without supervision; ability to prioritize, and complete multiple assignments; able to improve efficiency through process improvements and automation.
2. Experience:
Five or more years of related experience at a professional level.
3. Education:
Bachelor’s degree
4. Computer Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel, Access and other PC applications. SAP knowledge and mainframe applications preferred.

Job Description

Applies generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to prepare income and balance sheet statements and various other accounting statements and reports. Prepares journal entries, performs reconciliations, and performs account analysis. Audits various records to verify accuracy. Bachelors Degree with 1-5 years of experience. Generally reports to Manager or Senior Manager.

Job Functions
The following job function statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed. 1. Prepares reviews and verifies accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to the various records.
2. Support Accounts Receivables for Third Party and Employee Receivables which include collection efforts, reporting, and billing.
3. Analyzes complex general ledger accounts, prepares reconciliations, researches open items and account discrepancies; coordinates resolution of difficult issues with management and other department representatives. Makes recommendations and can implement solutions.
4. Prepares periodic reports such as aging, audit support, management, government, tax, and miscellaneous reports. May consolidate accounts of several areas for presentation to management.
5. Ability to multitask and handle large volumes of emails, transactions while meeting assigned deadlines.
6. Routine interaction with the offshore team to ensure the accuracy and success of the offshore team.
7. Participates in the scoping, planning, design, testing, modification and installation of accounting systems and related software programs.
8. As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
