Capitol Recruiters Inc. is recruiting for a Content Marketing Manager for a prominent law firm client in Washington, DC.
This position provides leadership on content strategy, messaging, and packaging. Responsibilities include overseeing the creation of collateral materials and web content; supervising implementation of content maintenance processes; functioning as primary department writer and copy editor; collaborating to identify technologies, messaging, and experience to differentiate the firm and enhance the marketing of its practices.
Duties for this position include: Managing creative brief process in the conception of content, including practice descriptions, webpages, attorney bios, firm collateral, printed brochures, inserts, case studies, ad copy, and other deliverables as needed; lead writer for Marketing/Business Development Department advising on style, grammar, and usage; supervise team members in the execution of content processes, including maintenance, information collection, and creation of new materials; manages processes and systems for maintenance of all collateral, including print, pitch, and web content; provide guidance and strategic direction for branding, website functionality, thought leadership, blogs, internal communications, and social media as needed.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, strong written and interpersonal communication skills, must have six + years of professional experience in a similar position; law firm experience ideal; strong technical skills; strong project management and organizational skills; prior experience using web content management software required; experience using proposal generation and similar software a plus; experience using graphics and spreadsheet software (Adobe InDesign, Excel, Office XP, and the Internet) required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
