Engineering Manager/Project Manager PE
Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000 plus excellent benefits and relocation package.

Our client is looking for an engineer that truly loves his work, and feels good working for a company that makes a difference. You will be giving opportunities that are both exciting and challenging in the long term with this growing client. This is a growing stable industry having doubled business development in the last year. The successful Engineering Manager should have a strong mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving skills. An experienced manager is needed for this position because of the responsibilities in decision-making, initiative and the capability of making presentation to customers and third party vendors. As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a central engineering team of up to 14 engineers as well as outside engineering firms in the design, scale-up, construction, start-up and optimization of multi-billion projects. This position reports to the COO.
Responsibilities include: project integration, project plan development, project scope, schedule and budget planning, project cost management, budget forecasting, cost tracking and schedule analysis and overall project management.
The ideal Engineering Manager must have interpersonal relations. You must have the ability to establish and maintain positive relations with others, both internal and external. Must be understanding of team personalities and be able to motivate team members. You will work with design, regarding development, and changes of drawings for various material handling projects. Will lead project team and work with other disciplines.
Requirements:
1. B.S. Mechanical preferred. Electrical, Industrial or related Engineering discipline. PE a MUST. MBA is a plus.
2. Five years minimum experience in manufacturing related fields with technical leadership and project management experience.
3. Meet critical deadlines working within cost constraints.
4. Identify and develop technical talent and technology improvements that benefit the organization
5. Manage several multi-million dollar projects concurrently.
