Safety Manager
Seeking: Proactive EH&S Manager to serve as focal point for large food company in USA, Mid-South location, heavy on safety and wellness.
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 AND Excellent Benefits and PAID Relocation
Accountabilities in partnership with Plant Manager and Maintenance Leadership:
• Primary EH&S leader responsible for upgrading program effectiveness through expansion & training of onsite teams.
• Safety culture. Drive program improvements toward 100% compliance.
• Ensure that effective tools, systems, and policies are in place so internal & regulatory requirements are met.
• Reviews incidents and audit findings to determine and resolve root cause.
• Monitor leading and lagging indicators to detect performance trends.
• Manages Emergency Preparedness for facilities
Location: Southern USA. You can have the best of the country life and low cost of living. Lots of outdoor activities, Company offers customized lump sum relocation program.
Requirements for the EHS manager role:
1. Degree Preferred
2. EH&S experience 3 to 5 years prefer some experience in Food, Beverage, etc
3. Ability to impact and effect change with a flexible, open-minded, and positive approach.
4. Strong skills in OSHA 300 Log, manages workers compensation claims and investigations.
