President / Managing Director
Compensation: $175,000-$250,000 + bonus Comprehensive Benefits and Relocation

Summary: Full P&L, Regulatory, Operational accountabilities for a chemicals company

Reporting relationships:
Ø President/Managing Director will focus on overall Operation and Optimization for company
Ø Direct reports include VP of commercial activities, R&D Director and Plant Manager
Ø A finance director and Division Managing Director report jointly to President

Key Performance Objectives
Ø Manage costs, capital expenditures insuring continuous growth meets/exceeds EBITDA/Sales percentage while driving the Net Debt/EBITDA
Ø Grow revenue 25% in the next five years via ongoing emphasis on technology to develop new products with high margin and growth of existing portfolio.
Ø With support from reporting relationships, manage the existing portfolio and supply chain insuring company remains the premier supplier of primary products
Ø Insure safe operations by meeting all regulatory compliance requirements and continue positive community relations.
Ø President will be directly involved in the procurement, inventory planning, price management and security of raw materials
Ø Key objective-diversification of starting materials to other renewable chemicals

Experience Required
Candidate should have significant general management experience and demonstrated capabilities in manufacturing operations including logistics. Experience in commercial activities with business development and product management, and some experience managing R&D and plant activities. A chemical engineering or chemistry degree is important.

Specific skills required.
Ø High Technical competence sufficient to lead and challenge the Operations, R&D and other groups
Ø Strong business acumen with the capability to analyze a complex business and define the specifics of a business plan to sustain double digit growth into the near future.
Ø Leadership capabilities to manage in a highly active environment and to acquire, motivate, and retain the top professionals required to sustain growth and achieve financial objectives.
Ø A strong orientation toward employees that fosters loyalty and commitment to the company.
Ø Ability to interact in a multi-cultural environment
