both the skills and knowledge of engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Civil) as well as
the ability to identify prospective clients, build relationships based on expertise and facilitate the process of establishing an outstanding relationship that benefits the client.
These Sr. Account Executive/Engineering Sales Water/Waste Water roles requires
- advanced knowledge of the water/wastewater markets and the application of Variable Solutions technology and associated services and optimization solutions.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical.
- strategic thinking and the ability to work autonomously, as well as experience with assembling and managing successful virtual pursuit teams is necessary.
- development and overseeing "new" account creation in conjunction with water/wastewater sales personnel and Power & Water Solutions management.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
• Position's primary objective is developing business with new water/wastewater customers, therefore the full range of system selling, and leading this behavior by the assigned sales team, at all levels is essential
• Help establish business development objectives based on competitive analysis, pricing challenges, the business environment, and input from various sales channels within Power and Water Solutions
• Effectively manage and inspire geographically distributed sales personnel and facilitate priority access to Solutions support resources, along with maintaining high Power & Water Solutions management visibility required to successfully displace competitors
• Assist in recommendations of new methods, acquisitions, and new technologies to create business opportunities in alignment with Power & Water Solutions strategic business plan
• Work effectively with other internal Process Management organizations to maximize synergistic business opportunities and other duties assigned
• Provide periodic reports such as PATT, MOR, order forecasts and others normal to the function of sales management
• Interface effectively with all Power & Water Solutions organizations, such as Strategic Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing, Projects and Field Engineering to ensure support is obtained which is essential to ensuring successful project results for new customers

These positions requires 70% regional travel (northeastern US).
Educational Requirements for this Sr. Account Executive/Engineering Sales (Water/Waste Water) role:
- a BS in EE, ME, CE engineering or equivalent and a minimum of six years relevant sales experience.
