Electrical Engineers
Lake Charles, Louisiana
As one of our client’s Electrical Engineers, you will develop the basic and detailed design of new projects, as well as modifications to existing facilities, while working with voltages and equipment from 110V up to, and including, 69KV. Your participation in optimizing and troubleshooting existing operations will be expected, as well. At the senior level, you will contribute technical resources to operations and maintenance in rectifier and generator systems, and technical assistance in electrical safety issues. You’ll also apply your project management expertise to electrically oriented tasks.
To qualify, you must hold a BSEE and possess at least 5 years of experience in electrical systems design and maintenance, or be a new grad. A solid background in motor control, switchgear installation, high-voltage circuitry, and electrical system studies, along with knowledge of relevant codes is necessary. Our client’s environment is a plant environment, calling for steel-toed shoes and hardhats. Flexible schedules are based on project needs and the manager.
