80 90% - Primary responsibility is understanding plant capacity and reporting that internally as well as understanding customer capacity reporting requirements and completing the appropriate customer forms. Then supporting plant personnel during customer meetings where capacity is discussed/presented.
10% - Will be supporting product design teams with information gathering, or special projects, or facility layouts, etc. while working with the PASA engineering teams or factory IE teams.
All of these actions will be primarily supporting manufacturing locations in MX and Malaysia and occasionally other locations where PASA designs are manufactured (including China, Czech Rep., Thailand, etc.)

Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
Confers and partners with management and engineering staff at all levels to implement plans and recommendations.
Develops management systems for cost analysis and financial planning.
Participates in product development teams.
Responsible to lead and direct the daily activities of technical staff members at all levels as required.
Assists in the development and management of departmental budgets and new business proposal activities.
Interprets and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information.
Will initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
PROBLEM-SOLVING/KNOW HOW: (complexity of problems and education/experience & other knowledge required)
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or equivalent related degree required. Masters degree in engineering or business highly preferred.
Minimum of three years of industrial engineering or related experience required.
High volume automotive manufacturing experience a plus.
Demonstrated project management experience required.
Must be current with new and evolving techniques, technologies and methodologies in lean manufacturing, simulation, electronic data collection, etc.
Prior experience leading and directly staff highly preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with the computer applications appropriate to the position and assignment.
