Job Type: Part Time Temporary
Primary Job Purpose: Responsible for maintaining a company's records. Codes, files, and retrieves records as needed and ensures is well organized.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Scan all documents into online database
2. Ensure files are organized and alphabetized; physical files and online files
3. Interact with service needs of customer service or managerial department heads
4. Check fax server for incoming faxes and distribute to proper personnel
5. File records away in alphabetical or numerical order
6. Code files for proper placement
7. Retrieve files as necessary
8. Ensure if files are loaned out that they come back
9. Clean and maintain file space
10. Manage all databases and records
11. Purge old files
12. Create new entries as needed
13. Log all files that removed
14. Fax and photocopy files
15. Deliver via interoffice methods
16. Ensure files are accessible and that room is well lit
17. Use scanners to convert forms, receipts and reports into electronic formal
18. Ensure no materials in file are lost
19. Be able to explain filing system to others

Education: High School Diploma/ GED
Prior experience in filing management or organizational skills.
