Description
Reporting to the Sr. Business System Manager, the Salesforce Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for the management and development of the company CRM system (Salesforce) as well as its integration with the company document management, patent database, and license accounting systems. This individual will work closely with and other members of Via’s Patent Licensing and Business Operations group as well as Legal, Sales, Program Management, Accounting, IT, and Compliance teams to ensure that systems are efficiently integrated and business requirements for enhancements and new developments are outlined and documented. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of SalesForce, as well as industry experience in contract management and QA testing processes.
Skills
A bachelor’s degree (preferably with an emphasis in Business Administration or Information Systems), or equivalent experience.
Ability to accurately define business requirements for stakeholders.
At least 4 years of direct experience working with Salesforce administration and Business Systems Analyst at a firm or corporation.
Proficient in SalesForce administration and AppExchange. SalesForce Administrator certification(s) preferred (ADM 201/ADM 211). Apex coding and/or SQL server experience considered an asset.
Experience or knowledge with Contract management applications like Apptus
Experience with QA and developing complex test scripts
Experience with email campaign tools considered a plus.
Ability to accept priorities set by management obtains clarification as needed and takes full ownership of assigned tasks.
Ability to understand Databases
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure and competing obligations.
Ability to work successfully in a team environment with a diverse group of legal, technical, and business staff.
Ability to work with a high degree of independence, flexibility, and fluidity
Excellent cross cultural skills required
