Responsibilities:
• Developing, leading and implementing strategic activities for continuous improvement initiatives;
• Promoting lean activities in support of culture change;
• Planning, leading, reviewing and auditing kaizen events;
• Managing assigned personnel and ensuring projects are completed on time;
• Developing or assisting in the development of materials, tools, and presentations in support of lean activities or Kaizen related issues;
• Traveling up to 50% of the time.
Education: 4-year degree required; Business or Engineering disciplines preferred.
Required Skills:
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience;
• 5+ years of experience in lean enterprise;
• 3+ years of experience in leadership and management;
• Knowledge of Toyota Production System, financial tools, Lean principles, scientific methods, etc.;
• Ability to manage lean or Kaizen events;
• Ability to attain performance measurements regarding Kaizen event evaluations;
• Demonstrated presentation techniques and skills;
• Strong leadership skills and positive relationship building skills at all levels of an organization;
• Ability to travel both internationally and domestically.
