Job Description:
Database management through maintenance of data dictionaries, data models, performance tuning. Coordinates database changes and tests. SQL Developer to support services for the sustainment and enhancement of data operations including master data management, data modernization and transformation, data governance, data acquisition, and delivery and decision support initiatives that provide key capabilities to stakeholders. The support includes identifying and implementing effective approaches and tools to help client address its mission.
Responsibilities include participating as a member of development team or teams; may lead a small development team. Designs units for others. Completes development to implement complex components. Contributes to design activities; may design solutions. Develops independently; participates in code reviews and may lead code reviews. May lead and provide mentoring and guidance to less senior developers. Designs, prepares and executes unit tests. Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain one or more technology areas (e.g. Web-site Development).

Skill Required / Desired Amount Experience
Complex SQL queries, and generating reports using PL/SQL against relational Databases. Required 8 Years
Strong background with OLTP databases and OLAP (Data Warehouse and Data Marts) databases Required 5 Years
Able to develop and test PL/SQL procedures and triggers; perform SQL tuning and re-write code as necessary Required 6 Years
Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation Required 5 Years
Exceptional ETL Design/Development knowledge Required 5 Years
Strong experience in analyzing complex data, and entity relationships in SQL tables to develop processes, and components to identify and document Required 8 Years
Strong scripting skills to perform data/file management (e.g. PERL, Python, Shell, etc.) Required 5 Years
Good understanding of Database Design and Data Modeling concepts Required 8 Years
Strong experience in Data Migrations, Data Quality and Data Maintenance Required 5 Years
Knowledge of BI/Data Warehouse concepts, including star schema, aggregation processes Required 5 Years
Good knowledge of Cursors, collections, and Advanced PL/SQL concepts Required 8 Years
Ability to understand and interpret customer requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirements Required 8 Years
