Job Description:
End to End PM ensuring Project is SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) Compliant
• Managing Unix to Linux migrations (SW/HW).
• We need staff to hit the ground running and can quickly take over and run projects (systems moving to Linux). There will be no time for them to be asking a lot of .. ""how do i do this"", etc.
• Technical knowledge of servers, Unix and Linux and computer environments a plus.
• Knowledge of VPMO and hardware
• Issue and Risk Management required.
• PRISM Estimating and managing budgets.
• Highly skilled in working out conflicts and scheduling problems.
• Ability to break down blockers and work with a broad team on solutions.
• Responsible for meeting all deliverable dates and keeping the team on track.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• ITUP and PRISM needed.
• Ability to establish and maintain a good relationship with key partners.
IT Project Manager responsible for all aspects of technical project and program management for assigned projects. Projects and programs are typically high value long term strategic projects that involve new and/or enhancing technology, are highly complex, and require tight coordination and integration with multiple organizations and suppliers. Provides overall direction and technical or analytical guidance to project and program teams that typically span multiple organizations and may also include outside suppliers/vendors. Recommends and takes action to direct problem analysis and resolution.
Conducts end to end project management of multiple large projects and may also manage sub components of a large program. Leads cross functional teams to complete projects or program deliverables within allotted timeline and budget. Identifies key internal/external stakeholders necessary for project completion and develops overall strategy for executive of high value projects. Defines project scope and objectives, guides activities of a project/program team including delegating tasks to team members, identifies resources, and establishes master timeline for deliverables.
Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to champion project(s) across the entire organization. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project/program meetings and is responsible for project/program tracking and analysis. Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project/program deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of major problems. Communicates to client/vendors/leadership.
Qualifications
1. Solid understanding and working knowledge of IT infrastructure/architecture and advanced technologies Networking, SAN, NAS, Data Center Services, Data Bases, Unix, Linux, VMware, Cloud, Agile, Big Data
2. Previous ATT Experience as Lead IT PM a plus
3. The ability to work in a team enviroment is key
4. Self-Motivated
5. Good attitude
6. Large complex project and multiple project experience
7. Can quickly learn ATO processes such as VPMO
8. PMP certified is NOT a requirement
9. Some technical background
10. MS Office including Outlook, Project, Word, Excel, Power Point
11. Intermediate level+ financial management skills
