Capitol Recruiters Inc. is recruiting for a Benefits Coordinator For prominent law firm client in Washington, DC.
This position is responsible for administration of benefits programs including health and welfare and retirement plans.
Candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory federal, and state requirements and accomplish consistency in policy provisions for offices.
Some of the duties for this position: Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers and consultants to resolve issues, implement new programs, and handle contractual issues; communicate with staff to educate them on programs and resolve benefits issues that arise; coordinate planning and design of the firm’s Wellness programs; assist with compliance regarding federal and state laws such as FMLA, HIPAA, ACA, CMS Reporting, and Form 5500 filing; manage processing of vendor invoices and payments; maintain Benefits Intranet website and other electronic documents pertinent to benefits enrollment; assist with coordination of Benefits Open Enrollment process; assist with the administration of retirement plans including loan administration, annual financial audit, calculating and remitting of contributions to the plan administrator.
Position Requirements: 3-5 years of benefits administration experience required, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Ultipro HRMS (or similar HRMS software), Bachelor’s degree preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience; generous employee benefits offered.
