Job Description
Public Accounting firm has an opening for a strong audit person with a very strong expertise in the not for profit world.
This person could be a partner with a book of business, or a very strong manager nearing the partnership level.
Responsibilities:
•Responsible for managing multiple teams and providing performance feedback to all members of those teams at the conclusion of engagements
•Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively
•Play a key role in future business generation by identifying new business opportunities through networking within industry
Qualifications:
•Demonstrated expertise in nfp auditing, accounting and reporting
•Knowledge of good governance practices of NFP’s
•Expert knowledge of A-133 audits, and government and yellow book administrative and auditing requirements
•Ability to quality review engagements
•Broad knowledge of nfp taxation issues
•Knowledge of audits of employee benefit plans
•Extremely strong ability to communicate with Boards and management both in the field and in meetings---including how to present complex topics in understandable ways
•Proactive both in client service and in where the industry and profession are going in the nfp and ebp areas
•Knowledge of peer review process
