Job Description
The Chief Quality Officer responsible for administrative development and management of programs and activities related to Quality, Risk, Compliance and Medical Staff Services. Reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Experience:
• Nursing or other clinical healthcare license/degree.
• Desirable characteristics include a working knowledge of Quality Improvement principles.
• Must possess a positive working relationship with the Medical Staff, Department Leaders, and Hospital Staff throughout the facility, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of three years in an acute care facility and demonstrates a clear working knowledge of general hospital operations is desirable.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in Quality Management required.
• Must be capable of working independently and autonomously.
• Working knowledge of computer systems.
• RN. Current Licensure by the WA State Board of Nursing required.
• Certification by the HQCB optional.
