St. Giles is hiring Direct Care/Residential Assistants in the Baytown Texas Area. These positions work hands on, in a residential setting, with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Duties include assisting with hygiene, meal preparation, household chores, money management, shopping and transporting clients. Qualified applicants must have a valid Texas drivers license, an insurable driving record as well as be able to pass a variety of background checks which includes DL/MVR, Criminal History, past employment and personal references. Qualified applicants must have good attendance, reliable transportation and good computer skills as all notes on clients served are kept and maintained in an electronic record-keeping system which requires computer data entry by the Direct Care/Residential Assistant.
