Materials Handler III Job Duties and Description:
1. Pulls material from warehouse stock using a pick list and possibly radio-frequency device (e.g., identifying the specific part number, lot number quantity and location of all material pulled). 2. Utilizes a bar code scanner to scan items for material airlock pick list. 3. Transports material (e.g., production and non-production materials). 4. Responsible for the management / maintenance of specific materials assigned. 5. Participate and complete cycle count activities on a weekly basis. 6. Performs SAP transactions to clearly identify status of material. 7. Examines all packages visually at the time of delivery for any damage, and compares the identity and quantities listed on the packing slips, invoices and freight bills to the packages to ensure the information is accurate. 8. Lifts packages up to 50 lbs. 9. May participate in the training of new team members. 10. Provide customer service to a wide scope of customers (e.g. Engineering, technicians, production, and management) 11. Enters material information (e.g. P.O. number) into business computer system and generate receipt travelers. 12. Assignments require some judgment, initiative, and creativity in trouble shooting. Qualifications: Working knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, and outlook). Experience with SAP inventory system preferred. Would like candidates who have worked in medical device environment and have warehouse experience. Will perform tasks in a quality system environment which can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations. Education: H.S diploma or equivalent plus 6 + years of related work experience or equivalent combination. Please note that candidates will not be driving cab-over style box truck for this position.
