Job Description: Project Assistant/Production Assistant
Location: Menlo Park
Duration: 6 months 7/15-7/16
Our Menlo Park office specializes in environmental impact analysis under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); habitat conservation planning and implementation; biological assessment; permitting for endangered species and regulated wetlands; ecological restoration; and mitigation monitoring. We serve clients throughout Northern and Central California.
POSITION:
This position requires a motivated, detail-oriented professional able to work both independently and as part of a team. You should have advanced word processing skills and be able to prepare high quality, polished, often lengthy technical documents using MS Word. You should also have excellent editing, grammar, organization, and verbal communication skills; experience with the full MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Prepare and coordinate electronic documents that include graphic content, tables, spreadsheets
• Produce hardcopies, including printing and binding or coordinating with a printer, and burn CDs
• Maintain versions, ensure quality control, proof and edit
• Provide sales and marketing support, including assist with preparing statements of qualification, proposals, and PowerPoint presentations
• Assist with local document delivery
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Strong expertise in MS Word, including styles, fields, formatting, templates, tables of content and indices, picture and object inserts, and interchange among Office suite programs
• Expertise in other MS Office programs, including PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to manage large (200+ page) reports and documents
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
DESIRABLE SKILLS
• Graphics skills, including GIS, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Experience with InDesign
• Administrative support

Electrical-Mechanical assembly - Microsoft Office - Troubleshooting skills - Works well with cross-functional teams Preferred candidates with 4+ years of experience in medical device or automotive industry.
