Practices growth from within’ by offering opportunities to the onsite Employee Owners prior to outsourcing.
Provides internal/ external training support for Project Controls Employee Owner development (Project Manager approval required).
Secures all confidential information relative to company business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain alignment with corporate and site strategic plans as delivered through the contract terms and condition. Responsible for establishing short, mid, and long range goals for project controls department leads that align with corporate and site strategic plans.
Responsible for Project Controls process compliance. Monitors, measures, and reports to Project Manager on process compliance.
Actively involved in assessing/ assigning workload for planner. Assigns Planners to new work scopes based on skill set, current work load, and assignment level of effort.
Attends walk downs, estimate, and schedule reviews. Actively involved in execution planning/ estimating and weekly project update meetings.
Collaborates with customers Project Managers/ Engineers, accountants, and programmers to improve tools and processes for collecting and reporting costs more accurately and timely. Works with Corporate for programming needs associated with client driven process changes or identified process improvements.
In charge of scheduling and moderating all Project Controls meetings. Examples of these meetings are estimate review, stakeholder review, project kickoff, weekly construction meetings, and post job critique.
Ensures all planning, estimating, scheduling, and cost reporting deliverables are accurate and timely.
Ensures Project Leads are identifying changes from original scope and properly documenting them using the FAR, Field Action Request, process.
Reviews staff output for accuracy and monitors efficiency, ensures cross training is completed for each departments respective process.
