We now have opportunities to join our major international client's finance and accounting team. Based in Prague you will be responsible for a portfolio of French speaking customer accounts. We currently have opportunities for graduates and also experienced finance professionals.
Job Description
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, monitoring payment performance and identifying overdues and potential issues,
- Engage customers and build long term solutions to payment/accounting issues,
- In cooperation with other accounting teams (Billing, general ledger etc.) resolve any accounting errors, including mistakes in transactions, unapplied cash, pricing errors and so on,
- Proactively build solutions for specific clients including making regular calls, update emails and so on,
- Reconcile accounts as needed,
- Agree, log and monitor agreed customer payment schedules,
- Overall objective is to reduce outstanding debt on your ledger,
We Need
- The position can be suitable for fresh graduates with an education in finance, business economics or similar,
- The position is also open to people who already have minimum 6 months working experience in a financial based job, would could also consider people with a background in telephone based customer service or sales,
- Must have fluent or native Dutch language skills (written and spoken),
- Good English language skills (other language skills are welcome but not a strong requirement),
- Must be a confident communicator, able to communicate professionally and negotiate good solutions to problems,
- Competent PC user, at least with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel),
- Experience with financial software is an advantage,
